About Us
As a native Floridian, it was always a dream for Dr. Michael Parkhurst to open his practice in Florida.
After graduating from University of Central Florida, he began his chiropractic education at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
While attending Parker, Amberly and Michael met, and wed shortly after graduation in Sarasota, FL.
During their education at Parker, the two doctors had many amazing experiences. The most memorable and honorable was a trip to India. The two were chosen as part of a select group to introduce chiropractic to India while treating nearly 20,000 people.
In addition to being dedicated students, Amberly and Michael attended many seminars, with the notorious Parker Seminars being their favorite.
Both doctors have extended education and training in seven techniques which allows for a true full body adjustment, including the arms and legs.
In addition, the doctors can adapt their techniques suitable for all ages, from a fragile newborn to an aging spine.
Drs. Michael and Amberly Parkhurst had a vision of a practice that was focused on the patient, while allowing the patient to relax in an inviting and healing environment.
That vision became reality in 2008 when they opened Wellness One Chiropractic in beautiful Palm Coast, FL.
